Looking for that show stopper car you've always wanted? Everywhere you look people are dropping their jaws and breaking necks to see this ride! There is way too much to list on this car, we're still finding surprises ourselves. So much attention to detail is seen it is unbelievable. High quality Chrome and Billet everywhere (but not overdone), Secret messages in the pinstripe of the paint, Very well fitting interior (quite spacious actually). All hardware is neatly tucked away but is still easily accessible for servicing. We have a stack of receipts documenting the build as well. If your looking for a show winning street rod that was built to drive with modern drivetrain, then look no more...
The body of this 41 Willy's is a fiberglass reproduction, and the quality of the assembly of this car is great! Suicide doors, shaved door handles and boot latch, relocated fuel filler, etc. The lines just flow so naturally with this car. The paint looks great and there are some hidden quotes in the pinstripes of the flames as well as names of the people who built it, Keep in mind that these are not easily seen and truly make this car unique! The Mirrors used are Vision Hot Rod Concepts mirrors and are very sleek to the styling of this car. Lastly, the LED taillights are molded into the body for a clean finish.
The Interior is also very well done! Custom upholstered high back modern bucket seats are quite comfortable and make for quite a bit of leg and headroom. The custom Headliner with an overhead console which holds the Pioneer Stereo headunit and modern dome light with map lights is neatly done. The door panels and interior trim are all custom and have a very nice fitment with no visible screws or clips, etc. The highlight of this interior is the beautifully done wrap around dash (flows nicely into the doors as well). The dash is a smooth painted finish and all the controls (even the ignition switch) are all hidden on the underside to keep it a very clean look. Mounted in the center is a large Dakota Digital gauge cluster that really finishes the look! The Center console houses the A/C ducts, the Auto-stick Shifter, and a cupholder with the power window switches mounted discreetly in the cupholder area. Everything was kept neat and clean during the build and the quality really shows!
The Trunk has a power, remote and switch operated, trunk lid and is finished just as well as the interior. Sporting more trunk space then most hot rods, you have plenty of room for chairs, picnic accessories, or whatever you may need. The Fuel filler is neatly integrated into the inner panel for a clean look. Also, the Optima Battery, two compressors and air tank as well as all the controls for the air-ride are stowed away behind a nice access panel which can easily be removed for servicing. Also, all the panels are neatly fit into place with no visible screws or clips!
If your not already amazed by the quality of the exterior and interior, don't worry, there's more. This Willy's has got a HEMI! A Modern 5.7 Hemi with a Nag1 Automatic 5-Speed trans has been installed for the ultimate driving experience. When you pop the hood, everything is neat and clean with the Painted engine cover, but looking at the details, most everything is Chrome, Billet, or polished stainless. A March pulley system has been installed, polished valve covers and exhaust manifold shields are also in place. Even the Radiator hoses are Gates power grip, so no ugly clamps. The Radiator is a BeCool Aluminum radiator with twin electric fans. The A/C and heater hoses as well as the electrical are all neatly tucked and out of view.
The Chassis is just as nice as the top, everything is painted and polished just as a show car should be. 2in drop spindles on the front connected to a mustang II front end which utilizes a rack and pinion steering setup. The wiring has been ran through the frame and all the fuel/brake lines are shaped to the contour of the frame showing just how much work went into the detail of this build. The Rear end is a 4 linked Ford 9in. The brakes are disc brakes all the way around with Wilwood up front. Also, the builder was considerate and installed battery lugs on the underside, used for jumping the car in case of a dead battery, also a Battery Cutoff switch is located underneath if you plan to store the vehicle for extended periods.
