This Early 65 Production Pony is a clean driver. Great for weekend show n shines, parade duty or whatever you desire. The paint presents very well with a nice shine & a deep gloss. This one has been driven so there are the normal minor stone chips but overall it looks great. The bumpers and trim are in nice condition. The white convertible top is showing some age with some wear spots, but who uses a convertible top anyway?

 

The interior presents well with nice upholstery, carpet and trim. The Rally Pac is an original unit but as with most could use to be restored with a quartz clock movement & a tachometer rebuild. The seats are very comfortable and the upholstery fits nice & snug.

 

Under the hood the 289 appears mostly stock with the only obvious departure being a Holley Carburetor. The factory points have been replaced with a Pertronix Electronic Ignition System. The engine has been freshly tuned and runs strong. The C4 Automatic Transmission works nicely and is quite enjoyable for cruising.

 

This is one of the most solid Mustang Convertibles we have seen. This one has lived in dry Eastern Washington for the last 30 years. The original floors, frame rails and torque boxes are in excellent condition. If you hate rust you will love this car!

 

Out on the road this Mustang drives nicely. The tires are recent with a nice balance. The front end feels nice & tight and you can tell that this is a very solid car. If you are in the market for a sunny day cruiser/investment take a good look at this one.
