Here is a beautifully redone 65 Coupe that is an excellent driver but isn't over the top. The vintage burgundy paint looks and shines great, especially on a sunny day. All the glass is in good shape and all the lights and exterior features work. During the restoration, a GT rear valance with proper exhaust tips were added giving it that GT look. No bubbling is seen in the common areas. This is a great looking Mustang and we frequently get lots of compliments, it's getting tough to find the original style cars that haven't been modified!

The interior is the highly desirable pony interior, and it presents itself quite well! From the carpet to the headliner and everything in-between, everything is clean and tidy with no tears. The center console holds the 4-speed factory shifter with reverse lockout and even the rear console lights work! The stereo is a more modern AM/FM with Aux vintage style and sounds great when your cruising. Of course the Pony interior compliments the dash with a woodgrain finish along with a beautifully crafted steering wheel.

The stock 289ci was replaced with a reportedly rebuilt 302ci v8 and runs and drives great with only 14,000 miles since rebuild. Always fires right up, no smoke or blowby seen, and it doesn't skip a beat! The transmission has smooth crisp shifts and the lockout is functioning normally. Driving down the road, this Mustang tracks and stops straight and it's actually quite a pleasure to drive, really brings you back to the 60's.

The trunk and chassis are solid with what appears to be original floors. The spare tire and jack are also included and are stored away in the storage bag and tire cover keeping the trunk nice and tidy.

Plenty of pictures can be seen showing the trunk and and chassis in detail. We have a stack of receipts documenting the restoration as well, including receipts for engine/trans/suspension/interior and exterior, and everything in between! 

 

This is a nice, original looking classic Mustang that is ready to be driven and enjoyed! You are bound to get many compliments whether you drive it to work or to the local cars and coffee, this is sure to turn heads!
