Great Restoration Project!

Probably the Cheapest Complete Running Fastback currently on the Market! 

 

This 1965 Mustang does show rust on the Cowl and both lower doors and some typical rust is seen on the chassis but overall is a very solid restoration candidate. Currently the engine does run and the car does drive around the parking lot. Brakes feel good and steering is responsive. Some TLC will be needed before any street driving should be attempted.

The Body panels all line up well and no obvious signs of collision are seen, however some dings and blemishes are seen throughout. At one point the car has been repainted Red. The Interior appears fairly original with the exception of the new front seats, and all the trim and panels appear to be with the car. The Engine does Run, however the exhaust manifold is cracked and is rather loud at the moment. Transmission seems to shift good but we have not driven on the street. No abnormal noises are heard from the suspension or rear end as far as we can tell. Brakes are Non assisted Drum brakes all around and this Mustang is not equipped with power steering.

This is a Great Candidate for a Restoration, whether you would like return to original condition driver, or build the ultimate GT350 Clone, the choice is all in the eye of the beholder. These fastbacks are getting harder to find and more expensive as time goes on, so act now to make this dream a reality!
