Here is a great little running/driving project coupe.  Originally Silver Blue Metallic, this Mustang was repainted a dark blue in it's early years. The Body is fairly solid, but some patchwork will be needed, specifically to the inner driver door, driver quarter panel (behind the rear wheel) and the cowl. The best part is the floors, frame, trunk area and rear drops all look good. This would be a great project for a Do-It-Yourselfer who's looking for something to do on your downtime, and starting with a complete running/driving project is always the way to go!

 

The Blue/White two tone interior cleaned up good and presents itself rather well, no rips or tears are seen to the seats which have been recovered in Pony seat upholstery. The headliner will need replaced but all the headliner bows are included. The dashpad looks nice and the dash is complete minus the stereo, but looks like an aftermarket single din will slip right in. The gauges all seem to work good as well.

This Mustang started life as a 2bbl 289ci V8 but was later changed to a Late Model 302ci with a Ford Motorsport version of the Cobra aluminum intake. The automatic transmission was replaced with a Borg Warner 5-speed trans to make this a more comfortable cruiser down the highway. The engine fires up quickly and runs rather well, the trans goes into all the gears smoothly and the brakes work good, but we are selling this as a parking lot driver meaning all systems should be inspected and serviced before hitting the streets.
