This is a very fun 'Un-Cut' Bronco. The gray paint is in great condition and really shows well. Its not a show truck, just a great looking driver. The body is one of the most rust-free examples you will find. The floors, rockers, quarters all appear to be Rust Free FoMoCo panels. Lots of new trim and tasteful touches on this one.
Inside the interior has been treated to new carpet, door panels, seat upholstery and headliner. The seats are quite comfortable and the cabin is quiet by Bronco standards making for a nice driver. The heater works nicely and an aftermarket stereo has been installed with 6x9 speakers in the rear.
Under the hood lives a smooth running 302 V8. We do not have any rebuild history on the engine but it does run quite well with great power. A Holley carburetor and electronic ignition have been added. The 3 speed transmission works nicely and the shifter has been moved from the column to the floor.
Braking is a breeze on this one thanks to an added front disc brakes with a brand new Power Brake Booster from Tom's Bronco Parts. The rear brakes were recently serviced and the brake cables replaced with the proper length units to accommodate the lift kit.
A new Power Steering Conversion was recently added. The kit included a new steering box, power steering pump and lines. Steering is crisp on responsive.
The 2.5" suspension lift is from Tom's as well. It includes new shocks at all 4 corners, radius arm bushings, new front coil springs, helper rears and a new adjustable track bar. This kit is a nice setup for a street oriented Bronco with a firm but comfortable ride.
The undercarriage was steam cleaned, suspension and axles were all removed and then the tub was coated with a bedliner for a great all season protection. This was not a frame off restoration.
While the axles were out the axle seals in the Dana 30 (4.10 ratio limited slip) were replaced and the fluids replaced. The 9" rear differential was stripped, repainted and the fluids replaced.
The wiring harness was recently replaced with a modern 'Painless' wiring harness and fuses. The standard harness has a hard time accommodating large stereos, air conditioning and other modern 'niceties' so this new harness is a real bonus.
