Here we have this little gem that we found hidden in a garage in California and has been stored with the same owner since 1968. The story goes that it was parked in the late 90's and stored inside until the owner decided it was time to sell, in which we brought home and revived this lovely Torino GT back to life. This car still wears most of it's original paint and still has its original drivetrain in great working order. The Body shows some minor dings and a few touch ups can be seen from over the years, but with a good buff, we were able to bring the body back to what you see today! We did replace both bumpers and windshield, along with some misc trim that was missing, but the body is an excellent example of a survivor! One thing to note is the body and even the chassis is virtually rust free, being a California car saved this one from harsh weather and salted roads!

The Interior has seen better days we when got it, so we installed a new Interior kit including New seat upholstery and driver cushion, New carpet, and a New headliner, but the Dash pad (not cracked anywhere) and door panels, etc all remain original. Long story short, we know the interior is where any driver spends the majority of his/her time, so we wanted to make it presentable and comfortable, but still wanted to retain as much originality as we could. The Trunk is how you would have expected it from the factory. even the factory trunk floor mat remains in place, and although it does show some wear, it is still fully usable and you just never see an original trunk anymore!

The Engine is the original 390ci V8 and runs and drives great, Even the factory engine lift hooks and super rare exhaust heat shield is in place. We did freshen the engine up visually, but besides normal tune up maintenance (which is also fully documented in the pictures) it appears that this engine has never been removed or apart, besides a timing chain replacement. The Transmission shifts great and the rear end is nice and quiet, this Torino GT really is a fun car to drive!

The Chassis is in great original shape, you can still see the red oxide on the original floors and, like stated above, is virtually rust free. Even the rear quarter drops are solid which is usually the first area to go on these cars. Being a GT, you were given front power disc brakes and power steering making this car a breeze to drive. New Styled Steel 15" rims with New BFG 235/60 tires in the front and 255/60 tires in the rear with the GT hubcaps just complete the look to this Torino.

These Torino GT Fastbacks are getting harder and harder to find, and this is a great example of an original driving car with a great foundation should you choose to restore it. As-is this Torino is ready to drive and enjoy and will be welcomed at any car show as well as strike up conversations at the fuel pumps!
