Just in time for summer to cruise around with the top down! This 68' Mercury Park lane is an excellent driver and has many of the options anyone could desire for the era. Finished in Medium Gold Metallic, the body is fairly straight although their is evidence of prior work that has been done, mostly seen to the right rear quarter panel. These areas have been painted with a similar gold, but not an exact match as you can see in the pictures. The rest of the body looks great and no bubbles or signs of rust seen. The White Power Top looks great and works like it should with a matching gold top boot when the top is in it's lowered position.

The Interior is complete and everything seems to work including the Power Windows, Heater, Radio (AM) etc. The A/C looks complete but will likely need service. The Interior matches the exterior in color being Lt Nugget Gold Metallic, The seats do show some tears but they are still comfortable and quite usable. Everything to this car seems rather original and kept in good shape for it's age besides some general wear.

The Engine is a 390ci 4v V8 which is paired to a C6 Automatic Transmission, and this one runs and drives quite well with no unexpected leans or pulls from the Suspension or brakes. The Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes make it a breeze to control down the road and stop rather quickly. Looking close you can see alot of the factory clamps/markings are still in place and the engine and transmission are rather clean. The Chassis also looks great, no signs of rust and overall is very solid. Plenty of pictures can be seen above documenting the chassis.

It'll be tough to find a comparable convertible classic car in this price range. Over the years, these cars have rotted away and you just don't seem to find them or the price is astronomically high, especially at the beginning of summer. This one is ready to cruise today, and work on while you have some spare time.
