Looking for a lot of fun but you don't have a lot of spare cash to blow? Take a look at this one. It checks ALL the boxes needed to get a smile on your face this 2021 should it prove to be 1/2 the dumpster fire 2020 was. 

​

Obviously the paint is old & tired. You can't see it from the driver's seat though. The body is solid and provides a blank sheet for your paint & body upgrade choices. So if you want a low buck hauler leave it as is. If you want to flare it call Maier and get your sawzall out. Go for a quick fix & wrap it. Lots of ways to go here and no door has been closed on you. Fastback lid anyone???

Under the hood lies the magic. A 351 Windsor has been installed. It has a mild cam so there is a bit of lope. On top is a long runner EFI intake with a Mega Squirt Injection system running things. The supercharger is a Vortech unit pumping plenty of boost right down the Windsors throat. To keep the boosted intake temps cooled an alcohol injection system from Snow was installed. There is a lot going on under the hood here. Feast your eyes and feel free to ask some questions.

The transmission is a lightly modded Automatic Overdrive. Plenty of strength to handle this set up with the bonus of highway speeds at a comfortable RPM. The system is worked via a Lokar shifter and TV cable. 

​

A 9" rear differential was added to hold up to this much power reliably. No info was given on the posi unit but suffice to say any donut derelicts will not fell let down.  

​

Power Disc Brakes with cross drilled and vented rotors were added to the front. Definitely a necessary option, especially when you have over 500 horsepower in a 3000lb car. 

 

A Chrome Moly cage was installed. These are quite expensive and SUPER appreciated should any of your enthusiastic (poorly thought out) ideas not come to the desired fruition. We HIGHLY recommend that you pad the bars prior to actually using the cage though (for real, not a joke).

Rolling stock consists of American Racing Wheels with 275 60 15 Drag Radials on the back. If you have ever had a high powered car try and swap directions on the freeway on regular 'performance tires' you will really appreciate these.

​

Just to put thing in perspective...Mad Max took place in 2021. Where would he have been without his Supercharged Ford???
