This '68 lived in the sunny Boise, Idaho area. It was appears to only have 48k original miles by the look of the odometer and abundance of original suspension and steering components. It currently is powered by a 1970 351 Cleveland 2V engine and a Toploader 4 speed transmission.

The body panels on this one appear to be the originals and are in great condition. To find an S code GT with original quarter panels, floors, frame rails and torque boxes is very rare. The hood does have some filler in the center above the engine but otherwise the car seems to have avoided any serious body damage.

The interior appears to be the 'born with' original. Obviously there is wear & tear but the bones are good. The overhead console is present along with the decor door finned aluminum. The tachometer still works too.

​

The current engine is a 1970 351 Cleveland that does run well. The 4 speed transmission is a correct S-Code Mustang 390 unit but isn't VIN stamped to this car. The shifter is a Hurst unit. We do have a rebuilt 390 available with this car.

The GT Wheels are a factory style with brand new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
