This is a really fun Bronco that sits in a nice spot - it runs and drives surprisingly well and is mechanically sorted out. Obviously the paint is older but it presents well and shines nicely. So many Broncos now are either complete restoration candidates or over-restored pavement princesses it is hard to find a good solid driver.
The solid bones are what drew us to this one. With good rockers, quarters and floors we were pleasantly surprised. There are some small holes in the front passenger floor, but they are minor. The rear portion of front fender aprons has the typical rust spots. The body is pretty straight with few bumps and bruises, with exception of the right front corner of the hood and fender which does have some minor damage. The top is solid as well.
Inside the Bronco looks very nice with original front floor mat and newer high back premium bucket seats from Tom Bronco Parts. The seats are very comfortable and fold forward easily for access to the back. The white headliner is like new and very clean and is complimented by the nice white arm rests and door panels. You'll notice the windshield wiper assembly cover is even included! Open the rear window and tailgate with ease, all of the original hardware is there and it functions great. This Bronco did not include a rear seat from the factory. Throw your dog(s) in the back, camping gear or whatever you'd like to take on your adventure - or install a rear seat to take some extra guests with you on the ride.
Unlike many, the dash on this bronco is original and not cut apart. The wipers work, heater works and gauges work including turn signals. The radio is not functioning but it would be quite easy to install a new single din with blue tooth. For now you can enjoy the sweet sounds of the 302 v8.
We don't have documentation on the 302 engine, but it starts right up as it should, idles smooth and propels this bronco along nicely. The dual exhaust is in good shape and gives it just enough of that signature v8 sound but not enough to be annoying. The 3 speed column shifter works great, shifts smooth and is quite easy to run through the three forward gears and reverse. This Bronco cruises down the road quite comfortably and is a joy to drive. Steering is manual, nice and tight and works as it should. The brakes are manual as well, but it comes to a stop nicely with no abruptness.
The suspension is still in its stock style configuration and works great. The 32" tires are brand new BFG All Terrain T/A KO 2's that are wrapped around 15" US Mags which really sets this Bronco in a nice stance. This is a very comfortable Bronco to drive and patiently awaits the next adventure with you!
