This is a great Bronco for someone looking for a very well equipped Bronco with very low miles on a Frame-Off Restoration. This is not a stripper Bronco either, it is well equipped with just a handful of miles since completion.
The body was recently painted in Charcoal Gray.
This is a solid Bronco with good floors, quarters and rockers. The hood is from Wild Horses and has hydraulic lifts to lift it up and custom hood pins to hold it down. The bumpers are powder coated ‘Impact’ Bumpers from Tom’s Broncos with an 8k pound winch in front. The fender flares are also from Tom’s Broncos and are durable urethane units that will not crack & break like fiberglass.
Inside the interior features a fully bedlined tub for easy clean up and great corrosion protection. The seats are TBP units that are made from super durable materials that will protect them from the sun, rain & dirt. The seats will fold forward, recline and slide back enough for taller drivers. In back the rear seat is a Fold’n Tumble unit that allows full use of the rear bed area. These are the perfect Bronco seat, they even clean up easily too.
Under the hood a rebuilt 351 Windsor was just installed. It has a 4 Barrel Intake, Performance Carburetor, Electronic Ignition, Headers and Dual Exhaust. Behind it is a freshly rebuilt C6 Automatic Transmission that can handle the 400+ lb/ft of torque that the engine produces.
The brakes have been seriously upgraded with a Hydro Boost unit and discs on the front. This is a quantum leap from the original non-assisted drum units. If you are not familiar with Hydro Boost just take a look at most modern cars. They are driven off of the power steering pump and do not rely on engine vacuum. Pedal effort is much easier, braking is very linear and predictable.
The suspension has been upgraded with a 3 ½” kit from Tom’s. This kit includes new springs, bushings & hardware. To keep the alignment specs in check the radius arm mounts were lowered with a kit from Tom’s as well. This Bronco now drives better than it did stock thanks to improved alignment specs and dramatically improved tires.
For the tires & wheels we went with Fuel ‘Revolver’ wheels is 17x9. These look great and fit excellent. We have been big believers in the Toyo AT II tires as they have driven better than any of the other tires we have tried. They also have a 50k+ mileage warranty.
