This is a Super Rare Opportunity! 69 Mach 1’s have always been popular but as of lately they are on a tear. European markets began heating up last year and the demand is building. The European market has driven the 67 & 68 Fastback market into the stratosphere and the 69’s appear to be next. To find a nice solid car like this one under 30k is next to impossible!

 

The body on this Mach is in good condition thanks to a quality restoration that was done some years ago. During that the quarter panels & floor pans were professionally replaced using quality reproduction replacement panels. The seams are nice and the repairs look great. The paint is older with some the typical chips & patina you would expect on a driven car. It presents well still thanks to the straight panels and all of the optional Mach 1 dress up equipment like front & rear spoilers, shaker and rear window louvers.  

 

Inside the Mach 1 interior is in overall good condition. There is some wear from use since the restoration mostly on the driver’s seat. The seats are still firm & comfortable with nice support. The door panels that are so often cracked are still in good condition.

 

This ’69 was treated to an extensive mechanical restoration. The 351 was rebuilt with a Balance Rotating Assembly, Keith Black Pistons, Molly Rings, ARP Rod Bolts, King High Performance Extreme Bearings, Comp Roller Camshaft, Double Roller Timing Chain & Gears, World Products Cylinder Heads & Edelbrock RPM Intake Manifold. The engine runs very well with excellent power and a clean, smooth feel throughout the RPM range.

The ultra-tough 4-speed Toploader shifts crisp & clean thanks to a Hurst shift linkage.

 

The Heavy Duty 9” Track Loc equipped differential was completely rebuilt with a new ring & pinion and bearings.

The brakes have been upgraded to 4-Wheel Disc Brakes with a Stainless Steel Disc Brakes rear kit. This Mach 1 stops very well with a nice comfortable feel.

With a solid body this Mach 1 would be an excellent candidate for a repaint that would move this Mach 1 way up the value food chain.
