When it comes to Rare & Iconic cars, you would be hard pressed to find one that rivals the 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda 440 6-Pack. With a total of only 1755 examples made it is a very rare find. With the automatic it car narrows it down to 853 cars produced. Due to the high horsepower & light weight, they were often 'over-enjoyed' leading to a great deal of the cars meeting untimely deaths. No hard figures exist on current survivors. To find an available car that isn't fully restored or basket case is a rare opportunity.

The body on this 'Cuda is quite solid. It has been painted in FM3 Moulon Rouge, AKA Panther Pink. It appears that this car was originally Plum Crazy Purple, the date of repaint to Moulon Rouge is unknown. The body is straight and the panels do line up well. The paint shines nicely but does have some checking and normal stone chips from driving. The vinyl top is in excellent condition. The moldings all appear to be in good condition and shine well. Consider this one a 10 footer. The driver's side rear floor pan looks good from the bottom but on close inspection there is some rust around the grommet. There is also a small repair in the trunk floor that was done with fiberglass that can bee easily seen in the pictures. The quarter panels, doors, fenders, etc all look solid and in good condition.  I

Inside the interior is in good condition with some recent upgrades. The Rallye gauges were just replaced with new, high quality reproductions. They all work properly and look great. The seats, carpet and headliner were replaced some time ago but still present well with some minor wear. The original door panels have been re-dyed and present well.

Under the hood lives a low mile 440 6-Pack. Normally multi-carb Muscle Cars are notoriously cold blooded and just plain cantankerous. This 'Cuda fires up incredibly easy and performs very well. The transmission is also a reportedly rebuilt unit with a mild shift kit. Finally the rear end is a new unit from Strange Engineering replacing the small 8 3/4" it came with.

Option wise this Cuda is equipped with both Power Front Disc and Power Steering. This is an incredibly easy car to drive. Steering wheel effort is minimal but still has good feedback. Brake pedal effort is easy with confident stopping power. It really is an easy car to drive and a pleasure on the road. Plenty of torque and really no drama...unless you ask for it.

High Performance Mopar's received several special options. This Cuda still wears its original rear leaf springs with an extra leaf on the driver's side to help handle the extra power put out by the multi-carb'd big block.

This car has seen some miles and as such some components have been changed. At some point in its life it had a front end collision requiring the core support to be changed. The frame rails appear to be straight and undamaged. The front VIN thus was lost, though the cowl stamping and dash tag are still present and legible. The factory fender tag was not on the car when we bought it and the previous owner stated it was missing when he purchased it.a
