'70 Mach 1's have always been the dark horse in the herd. The '69s were the hot car of the body style for many years. However, prices for well equipped 70's have been gaining some serious steam and have even began to eclipse their '69 counterparts.

This example is one of the best equipped you will find. The previous owner of over 30 years was a Ford employee during the early years of his ownership. He added some of the options from new Ford stock.

The body is in good condition as it has been largely garage stored for most of its life. The floors, quarters and frame rails are all solid. The paint is a driver-quality that looks stunning from 20 feet, great at 10 feet but does have some imperfections typical of 20 year old paint upon close inspection.

The interior looks great. The factory dash pad was cracked so a brand new Ford tooling dashpad was just installed. The seat upholstery was recently replaced and looks great. The 70 Mach 1 carpet too looks nice. The door panels appear to be the originals with only minor wear, nice original examples though.

Under the hood the 351 Cleveland has the big 4V Quench heads and a factory rating of 300 horsepower. The big Cleveland runs excellent with surprising low end torque for an engine with such top end horsepower fame. It has been detailed very nicely with the correct finish. The shaker too has been disassembled and detailed right down to the correct decals.

The Factory 4-Speed still sports its Hurst Shift linkage and shift handle. The Top Loader still works excellent even when pushed hard. The shifts come crisply without a complaint or falter.

The Magnum 500's are brand new 15x7" units, made right here in the USA. They have been fitted with 235 60's in the front & 255 60's in the rear. They fit perfectly with no rubbing issues.

This Mach 1 has Factory Air Conditioning. The system is complete and has a rebuilt Ford A/C pump. The pulley will need to be replaced and the system charged prior to use.

The rare intermittent wipers are a nice option for a driven Muscle Car. They work perfectly
