In the world of early bronco's, cut wheel wells and big lifts typically dominate.  So it's refreshing to see that after all these years, this Bahama Blue '71 has escaped "the knife" and sits nicely in it's original un-cut glory. The recent paint looks amazing and shows very well.  There are some small imperfections (tiny bubbles) in the clear coat along the top surface of the front fenders, doors and rear panels - but you'll need to look with a fine eye to spot them.  The glass has been replaced as well as exterior lights, bezels and lenses, exterior door handles, mirrors, emblems, headlight rings, fuel caps, bumpers and more.  There's not much that hasn't been touched on this amazing restoration. Lots of attention to detail inside, outside and underneath!  Take a close look at all of the photos including a good look at the documentation we have.

Inside, the floors were recently lined from the front all the way to the new tail gate.  The brand new parchment seat upholstery wraps around the comfy stock seats.  The dash, roll bar, and door panels were recently painted and door weather strip was just replaced.  The seat belts, wiper motor cover, wiper linkage, wiper arms and blades and heater motor are all recent as well.

Open the hood and you'll find an incredibly clean engine bay adorned in many newer components including battery tray and tie down, aluminum radiator, hood spring and latch, washer tank, pump, hoses and more.  The beautiful Bahama Blue paint surrounds the smooth running 302 V8 with Holley 4 barrel carb and intake with newer single exhaust. We do not have any rebuild history on the engine, but it was recently pulled for paint/detailing and runs quite well.  As a precautionary measure we replaced the valve stem seals.

The 3 speed manual transmission works nicely and the shifter remains in stock position on the column. In keeping with stock form, the front and rear brakes remain manual drum and stop as you would expect.  Steering is manual as well.  You'll be doing your part with this one to #savethemanuals

Using Tom's Bronco Parts, we replaced the Front and rear suspension which includes new shocks at all 4 corners (and steering stabilizer), radius arm bushings, new front coil springs, and new rear leaf springs. This kit is a nice setup for a stock bronco keeping the front end tight and rear end sitting right.

As you roll underneath you'll find and incredibly detailed and freshly painted undercarriage looking better than the top side of many broncos out there!  The 9" rear differential is a 3.50 limited slip and traction is also kept in check by the newer all terrains mounted to painted steel wheels with original hub caps.
