This is the rarest of Broncos. It functions very well as a driver and the first number in the price isn’t a 4 or a 3. It has all the good manners that many of the higher priced Broncos can’t even claim. The really cool part of this Bronco is that it isn’t perfect.

The paint is presentable, and it draws plenty of thumbs up and compliments, but it is in no way perfect. There are numerous imperfections, small stone chips and scratches. The moldings are all originals with their own patina but still straight & authentic. The only recent replacements are the bumpers which are high quality units from Tom’s Broncos. If you want really nice paint on a very functional Bronco, you need to shop in another price bracket. The previous owner had spent a lot of time & money getting this Bronco to this stage. Luckily he kept the receipt documentation to prove it and let a new owner in on all the good news.

First off this Bronco is solid. The front floor pans have been replaced and then the whole floor was bed-lined for easy clean out & excellent protection from the elements. The rockers & panels are all in good condition with no obvious signs of rust damage.

Inside, the front seats were replaced with very comfortable units that look great. The rear seat was reupholstered in a durable material and is in good condition. A custom console was made from an ammo case that is very functional and has a comfortable arm rest pad. A tool box for the rear was custom made and is fully lockable. Just under it a Hi-Lift jack is stored.

Under the hood the 302 was rebuilt with a mild cam, aluminum intake and performance exhaust. It has just a slight lope to the idle and really runs well. The power is great with plenty of off the line torque. The C4 was also rebuilt and goes into gear quickly & shifts well.

The lift kit is a 2 ½” suspension lift from James Duff. It provides plenty of room for the 33x12.50 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A’s. These 2 ½” Duff kits are great because they handle great on the road, provide just enough lift for good looks and off road use without losing all of your alignment specs.

The steering was upgraded using a ’77 F-150 steering box and a heavy duty pump. The steering works excellent and is nice & positive on the road. This is an easy & predictable Bronco to drive.

The front drum brakes were replaced with Disc Brakes for a reliable & competent street driver.

So, if you want a good looking Bronco you can drive both on the road & off all the while enjoying yourself take a good look at this one.
