Broncos have been red hot for us. So much so that they have been selling before they even touch the website. We have been keeping the wraps on this one just so we could get it on the site!

 

This Bronco came to us from California as a well sorted and correctly built truck. The paint & body were still in good shape but had the normal scratches & stone chips you would expect on a 8 year old paint job. We stripped this one down to the bones and had it repainted in Carbon. The finish is quite nice, easily good enough for weekend shows or just showing off at the beach. The lights have been upgraded with LED tail lights and LED JW Speaker $800 headlights. This Bronco has the same light technology as the new 2015 Ford trucks. Night time driving is a cinch and any driver behind you will not be able to miss these tail lights. New marker lights were also installed. The bumpers are the Impact Series from Tom’s. They are extremely tough and look great. The front bumper houses a heavy duty Warn Winch to pull your buddies Jeep out and the rear bumper houses a full size matching spare tire & wheel.

 

The interior already had the nice seats from Tom’s Broncos so we just replaced the carpet & door panels, added new seat belts and polished the bezels. The interior looks great and has all the features you would expect in a high end Bronco. The front seats recline & have plenty of travel for even the tallest drivers. The rear seat is a Fold-n-Tumble unit so you have headrests for safety and plenty of room for gear when the seat is stowed. The locking center console houses a nice deck & amp while leaving you room to store your valuables securely. The dash also has a Tuffy Box unit to store even more valuables securely. A nice roll cage provides safety for the unthinkable as well as a nice platform for a bikini top.

 

Under the hood the 302 runs like a Swiss watch on gasoline. Just hit the key and it fires up easily. With a nice ignition system, aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock Performer Carburetor and dual exhaust this Bronco makes good power but has excellent street manners. With the NV4500 Heavy Duty 5 Speed, you always have the correct gear for power. The 1st gear is a compound low for the steepest hill and 5th gear is an overdrive that makes 70mph cruising a breeze. The front axle is a Dana 44 heavy duty unit and the rear axle is an aftermarket HEAVY DUTY 9” housing with a locking differential. This Bronco has been tested and has actually completed the Rubicon trail (before it was painted).

 

One of the nicest things about this Bronco, and there are many, is how it drives. I have personally cruised on the highway for an extended drive at over 70mph in this Bronco with one hand on the steering wheel and listening to the radio. It is truly amazing how well this Bronco can hang with freeway traffic. Many modifications have been made including lowering the radius arm mounting points, custom alignment and nice steering linkage. The 4-Wheel Power Disc Brakes make stopping a cinch with no pulling or brake fade. Quick stops are easy and confident. If you want a Bronco to drive daily or on longer trips, this is it.

 

We use Toyo ATII tires on our Broncos because they drive incredible, last for over 50k miles and are nice & quiet. They also are very capable off road tires. We highly recommend & install them even though they are among the priciest tires available.
