The paint on this Bronco is very nice. We had this done at our go-to paint shop and the body and paint work were in excess of $10k. We replaced the fenders, hood and grill in order to be able to paint this one black. This is a 2-stage paint (base/clear) that has been wet-sanded and polished. The emblems were eliminated completely for a smooth, clean finish. We use Tom’s Impact Series bumpers on our Broncos. They have been powder coated for easy clean up and a super durable finish. This Bronco is nice enough for weekend shows and you would easily be the star of the show at the beach, gas station or anywhere else people of sight & good taste congregate.
Inside, the interior is beautifully simple. The dash & doors were painted with the Bronco and have a nice finish. The steering column has been upgraded with a polished Flaming River Tilt Column. The floors have been completely lined with Raptor Bed-Liner, Dyna Mat Insulated then covered with a Tom's Premium Carpet Kit. The seats are the Sport Seats from Tom’s Broncos. They have an all weather fabric that can deal with water & sun. The front seats recline fully and the back seat is a Fold n Tumble unit that can fold flat then be pivoted forward for extra cargo room. The best thing about the rear seat is that it offers head rests for whiplash protection. If you have children, this is a HUGE benefit as the stock rear seats offer no protection for them. The center console has a ton of storage and a sturdy lock for storing items with the top off. The glove box is a Tuffy unit that allows use of the glove box with the roll bar in place. It is a full steel unit that is a perfect for storing things out of site in near vault-like security. The roll bar is a 6-point unit that fits excellent and offers rear end protection for the back seat passengers.
Under the hood, the 302 has been upgraded with an aluminum intake manifold, 4 barrel carburetor and performance exhaust. It fires up easily and runs excellent. The C4 Automatic Transmission goes into gear quickly and shifts nicely. It is coupled with a Dana 20 Transfer Case. Both the transfer case and the transmission were rebuilt by the previous owner, no receipts were provided.
The front axle is a Dana 44 unit and the rear is the heavy duty 9”. Both units were rebuilt by the previous owner in 2012.
The fuel system has also been upgraded with a 23 gallon rear tank. This system still retains its original 8 gallon side tank so you have over 30 gallons of fuel capacity. This is great if you plan on driving long distances or for an off road adventure.
The wiring was completely replaced with a high quality Centech harness. The Centech harness is a great harness that gives you the ability to easily add options such as a big stereo system or air conditioning. This Centech system uses modern fuses and relays. The headlights are high-end LED Projector units, the same technology used on today’s high end cars & trucks. They are extremely bright offering excellent visibility on the darkest of road & trails.
The braking system is all new. It is a full 4 Wheel Power Disc Brake kit. This Bronco gives you complete confidence on the road. Stops are consistent and drama free. With 35” tires, you really need a quality braking system.
This is one of our favorite tire & wheel packages. The wheels are Moto Metals in 18 x 10. The tires are Toyo AT II’s in 35 x 12.50’s. This tire is our favorite for the Broncos. It’s squared sidewall works very well with the Bronco’s suspension & steering for a crisp responsive feel and a straight track down the lane. They also have a 50k mile tread-wear rating so you will be enjoying them for quite some time. We use this combo extensively for their excellent fitment and great looks.
