This is an incredibly nice and mostly original 1984 Dodge Ramcharger 150 4x4 - one that might even make you forget for a moment about the Bronco's and Blazers that get all of the attention.  As the 4x4 vintage market heats up, this Ramcharger is one to take a closer look at!

With its Royal SE & Prospector package, you get cruise control, tilt wheel, a/c (that works), big mirrors, wood grain dash, bucket seats and the giant RAM perched on the hood that just ads to the nostalgia!  This rig must have been a special order to receive the reliable manual windows and manual door locks.  You'll benefit in the fuel savings department with part time 4 wheel drive, and with the larger fuel tank as part of the Prospector package you'll "get away from it all" farther before a refuel is needed.  It even includes an interior mounted steel fuel can which more than anything simply looks cool. Who knew hoarding gas would be a thing, but you'll be ready with this Royal Ram!

Inside, the interior is extremely clean for a 4x4 of this era.  The cloth bucket seats are comfortable and in great shape.  The updated carpet shows little wear, the headliner is clean, all of the gauges are clear and the dash is crack free.  Both driver and passenger weather stripping were recently replaced and the original radio has been swapped with a newer head unit and 4 speakers.  The only thing she wreaks of is originality and beauty! 

The original 37 year old paint isn't free of "character" but blemishes and dings are minimal and there is no sign of rust.  It shines nicely, the trim pieces show well and the glass is in great shape (recently tinted).  Underneath is very clean and it doesn't feel like much time was spent "prospecting" off road.  Records show much of its life (perhaps all?) was spent in sunny and dry Idaho and likely on pavement.

Under the hood is a recent remanufactured 360 v8, including new motor mounts, water pump, thermostat, radiator, hoses, balancer, fuel pump and heater core etc.  The engine fires up quickly, it runs very smooth and powers this 1/2 ton easily. The nice shifting 3 speed auto trans was serviced recently along with the brake system, including NEW: front rotors, calipers, master cylinder and booster. (Receipts are included).  

The wheels are 15" units with 32x11.50 Falken Wildpeak A/T tires with lots of tread.
