It's no secret that the 7.3 Powerstroke is one of the most desirable engines ever made. They make great power and are incredibly durable. This truck has been well maintained and upgraded where needed. This one has been our tried and true back up hauler for about 6 years.

​

This truck presents quite well. The paint looks nice but does have some imperfections you would expect from 236k. Basically just small rock chips and a light crease on the passenger rear door you would be hard pressed to find unless you are looking for it. The chrome is still bright. We replaced the foggy factory headlights with the '03 Super Duty versions that really clean up and modernize the look.

Inside we did replace the factory leather with a new leather kit installed by Hoglund's, a well known upholstery shop Everett. The interior really looks nice and is quite comfortable.

Under the hood the 7.3 is bone stock. The engine was replaced early in its life at 80k miles so the current engine has approximately 150k. We used this one as a back up truck and needed it to be rock solid reliable. The engine runs well but the injectors are due for service. The engine fires up fine but does need to be warmed up for a few minutes before driving.

The transmission was replaced with Ford's Super Heavy Duty transmission along with the upgraded transmission cooler, larger cooling lines and a HUGE BD transmission pan that holds 4 extra quarts of extra cooling capacity. The transmission works perfectly.

This truck has the 4.10 ratio axles so it has no issues hauling in stock form so power upgrades were never needed. This is also the off road package so the rear end has the limited slip differential.

The front hubs were rebuilt and replaced with the Warn heavy duty hubs. The factory dash mounted transfer case switch works nicely still.

​

The heater and A/C still work properly and have been maintained.
