This 1966 Mustang represents itself quite nicely and makes for a great driver. A Nice Restoration has been done and overall the car looks great. This car started life as a 2bbl 289ci V8 which has been replaced with a healthy 302ci 4bbl V8, Also the trans has been changed to a wide ratio 28 spline Top-loader 4-speed. This car just loves to be driven and screams for attention!

The Exterior Looks great and is Finished in Wimbledon White with Blue Stripes from Front-Rear Valance's. The Paint just Shines in the sunlight and turns heads everywhere it goes. This car will be an award winner at every gas station and achieving many Smiles Per Gallon on your Sunday drive through some fun, curvy backroads. No Rust bubbles are seen on the exterior, and the lower doors and rear pockets look great.

Inside the car looks great. The upholstery, carpet and trim have been replaced and have seen some use but it still presents quite well. The dashpad is in great shape with no waves or cracking seen. The dash itself is uncut, and installed is a separate aftermarket stereo in the glovebox as well as subwoofers in the trunk. The system sounds great and will make those long road trips all the more fun!

The Engine runs great and performs well. The engine is reported to be a fresh rebuild and does have some small parts receipts but not any significant documentation. Upgrades include an Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake with a matching Edelbrock 1406 Carb, M/T valve covers, mild performance cam, gear drive and  Shelby style Tri-Y headers. There is a slight lope to the idle and an audible whine from the gear drive. The engine feels strong with good torque. 

 

The transmission is a wide ratio unit that is shifted through a factory Ford Reverse Lock-Out Shifter. The shifter works well. Clutch engagement is nice as well.

The Chassis looks great with no signs of rust or even any prior rust repair. The chassis is very solid and is shown well in the pictures including the rear pockets, frame rails and floors. All bushings look good and no squeaks or play is heard when driving.

 

American Racing Torque Thrust wheels are brand new and wrapped with 195/70R14 & 235/60R15 BF Goodrich Tires.

 

The brakes are Front Disc/Rear Drum Style and stop confidently.
