Here is a fun opportunity to get into a real deal big block 4-speed Muscle Car! Marti Report Verified S-Code 390 car with a rebuilt engine sitting in place. The numbers matching 4-Speed Toploader is in there too. With a nice shine on the older repaint this one is still presentable but showing some age on inspection. You could easily get this one back on the road for some spring cruises next year without the need for a full blown restoration.

Originally ordered in Candy Apple Red with a repaint in Calypso Coral this one is definitely an eye catcher. Paint is best described as a 20 footer. Get any closer and the imperfections are evident which is to be expected from a 30+ year old repaint. The individual panels have been pictured so you can expand them and see for yourself. There are older repairs in the lower quarters and door corners, typical of the breed. The floors and frame rails appear to be the originals and are solid. The torque boxes do have some rust on the lower panels, see pics.

This car was originally optioned with a white interior, which is one of the nicest interiors of the era. Ford designed these with a rich white color and very luxurious padded door panels and 'Comfort Weave' seat upholstery. Not only was this interior much cooler than the black it just looked amazing. Obviously some of the upholstery was changed out over the years but quality reproduction interior components are readily available from multiple vendors. 

Under the hood resides a rebuilt 390. The engine was rebuilt about 10 years ago and has not been fired. We would recommend pulling the intake and valvetrain to re-lube the lifters prior to breaking in the engine. We did not get any receipt documentation for the rebuild. It was reported to us that the engine has a performance camshaft and forged pistons. A new clutch was installed with the rebuilt engine. The 4-Speed does have the original matching VIN stamping on the case.

The rear end is a 9" heavy duty unit that was fitted with a Traction-Lock set up. We do not know the exact gearing.

The factory styled steel wheels are wrapped in brand new Cooper Cobra 225 70 14 tires.
