It would be hard to find a more sun inspired & friendly convertible. Decked out in Sebring Yellow with a comfy white interior & matching top this one wont bake you in the sun like the dark colored cars. If the heat gets too much just hit the Air Conditioning.
The body & paint on this one are quite nice. While not perfect, it is very nice. You won't want to be parking at the grocery store unattended. This one is easily nice enough for cruise ins and weekend shows. Visible inspections reveal no signs of rust which is quite rare for the breed. Most of the chrome and moldings have been replaced with quality reproductions or the originals have been restored, this is a clean one.
Inside the interior was reupholstered in white which looks classy and really does make a big difference. In the sun the white stays dramatically cooler than any other color. Anyone who has sat on a sun soaked black vinyl seat has the experience indelibly marked in their mind and burn scars on their back sides.
Under the hood the M code Rocket 350 runs well. The 'M' codes were the high performance version and came with dual exhaust and the really cool exhaust exit bumper. It has plenty of low end torque to haul the car around confidently. The transmission goes into gear quickly and shifts properly. The Air Conditioning pump was reportedly rebuilt recently. The system cycles properly but could use a top off due to sitting in storage for a few years after restoration.
The wheels are the correct styled steel units with the correct center caps. The tires appear to be new with deep tread and the rubber whiskers still in place.
